Dexfluence ("we", "us", or "our"), owned by DarwinX Labs, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at dexfluence.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data: Name, email address, password (hashed), brand name, niche, creator social handles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- OAuth tokens: When you connect your Instagram Business account, we store Meta-provided access tokens to fetch your account insights. You can revoke access at any time.
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, clicks, and session duration. Collected via standard web analytics.
- Payment data: Handled entirely by Razorpay and Stripe — we never store card numbers or bank details on our servers.
- Public influencer data: Profile statistics scraped from public sources (Instagram public profiles, YouTube Data API, TikTok public profiles) to populate our discovery index.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate you and provide access to the dashboard.
- Match brands with creators and facilitate campaign outreach.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, campaign updates, payment receipts).
- Generate AI-driven content briefs and campaign recommendations.
- Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve our service through anonymized analytics.
3. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following sub-processors strictly to deliver our service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (hosted on AWS).
- Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — OAuth login, Graph API access for connected brand accounts.
- Google — OAuth login, YouTube Data API, Google Fonts, Google Search Console.
- Razorpay & Stripe — payment processing, PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
- Apify — third-party scraping infrastructure for public profile data.
- OpenAI & Anthropic — AI-generated content briefs and recommendations.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we purge your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (maximum 7 years for financial records under Indian law). Anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR (EU) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your data in machine-readable format (JSON/CSV).
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies & Tracking

7. Data Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) to isolate tenants. OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. For details, see our Security page.
8. Children's Privacy
Dexfluence is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in India, the United States, or the European Union, depending on the sub-processor. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable to ensure lawful cross-border data transfers.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
